Ducati made waves at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona by revealing its latest creation, the draXter concept bike. This innovative design is a drag-racing version of the XDiavel, initially showcased at the Eicma show the previous November.

Crafted by Ducati’s Advanced Design division within the Ducati Design Centre, the draXter boasts a striking appearance, resembling an XDiavel with a lavish makeover. Noteworthy features include top-of-the-line suspension and brakes borrowed from the Panigale superbike, a formidable Termignoni exhaust system protruding from the bike’s underbelly like a massive tusk, and distinctive wheels paired with a mammoth-section slick rear tire.

The design team at Ducati has elevated the XDiavel’s aesthetics, intensifying its aggression by eliminating the headlight, incorporating a larger, sweeping front mudguard, and enhancing the tail unit with a sharper, upturned design. A symbolic touch is the number 90 displayed on the bike, paying homage to Ducati’s ongoing 90th-anniversary celebrations.
