The American International Motorcycle Expo, known as AIMExpo, may not be synonymous with the custom motorcycle scene, but it’s a platform where industry partners and builders showcase their creations. In 2025, the event held in Las Vegas featured a mix of factory concept bikes and custom builds that caught the eye of enthusiasts and professionals alike.

One standout custom at the expo was the Seiemmezzo SCR 650 Scrambler by Moto Morini. This build demonstrated that impressive results can be achieved without breaking the bank. Cody Spakes, Morini’s After-Sales Manager, transformed the SCR 650 into a rugged scrambler by shedding road-compliance parts and adding off-road enhancements like crash bars and a skid plate.

Another attention-grabbing bike was the Hooligan Series Harley-Davidson Pan America, a track-prepped V-twin racer inspired by the Super Hooligan National Championship. With a focus on shedding weight and enhancing performance, this Pan America featured carbon fiber components, custom rear-set pegs, and a custom exhaust system to maximize its 150 hp output.

Royal Enfield made a splash at the expo with the 850 Rally by Death Spray Custom. This retro Dakar rally machine, dubbed ‘Wildfire,’ boasted an 850 cc air-cooled twin engine and a custom rally-inspired design. With upgraded suspension, a unique color scheme, and a nod to ’90s rally bikes, the Wildfire concept hinted at Royal Enfield’s potential entry into the larger displacement ADV market.

Turn 14 Sales Specialist Russell Hacker showcased his 2010 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail at the expo, demonstrating a blend of custom styling and performance upgrades. From internal wiring to high-impact wheels and performance parts, Hacker’s Softail was a standout display of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Christian Sosa of Sosa Metalworks presented a striking custom Royal Enfield 650 at the expo, showcasing his expertise in metal fabrication. With handcrafted frame sections, fuel tank, and front end, Sosa’s build exemplified the fusion of classic charm and modern craftsmanship. The bike’s unique design and meticulous attention to detail highlighted Sosa’s reputation for high-end custom work.

Overall, the 2025 AIMExpo offered a glimpse into the diverse world of custom motorcycles, where builders and manufacturers push the boundaries of design and performance to create one-of-a-kind machines that captivate audiences and spark excitement in the industry.
