LIQUI MOLY, the German lubricant specialist, has recently announced a realignment of its partnership with MotoGP, the premier motorcycle racing series globally. The company will no longer hold the “Exclusive Lubricant” title in Moto2 and Moto3 categories after the end of 2025 but will maintain its commitment to MotoGP, emphasizing shared values of motorsport excellence and performance.
According to Marco Esser, LIQUI MOLY’s marketing director, the decision reflects the fulfillment of technical requirements and marketing objectives in the lower categories, allowing the brand to focus on MotoGP. The extended partnership aims to enhance LIQUI MOLY’s international brand presence and engage fans worldwide through its association with the prestigious racing series.
Under the new four-year agreement spanning from 2026 to 2029, LIQUI MOLY will intensify its visibility both on and off the tracks during MotoGP events. The company will continue as the title sponsor for the German Grand Prix at Sachsenring, reaffirming its commitment to the domestic market and showcasing its support for motorsport in Germany.
In addition to its broader MotoGP involvement, LIQUI MOLY will maintain its sponsorship of the LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP team, ensuring a continued partnership until at least 2027. The team’s top riders, known for their dedication and performance, will represent the brand on the racing circuit, further solidifying LIQUI MOLY’s presence in the competitive world of motorcycle racing.
Prior to the new MotoGP agreement, LIQUI MOLY was the title sponsor of the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, held at the iconic Phillip Island Circuit. The event saw rider Senna Agius from the LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP team secure a historic victory, marking a significant milestone for the brand in Australia.
The realignment of LIQUI MOLY’s partnership with MotoGP underscores the company’s strategic focus on high-performance motorsport and brand promotion on a global scale. By leveraging its association with MotoGP and nurturing relationships with top racing teams, LIQUI MOLY aims to strengthen its position as a leading lubricant supplier in the competitive world of motorcycle racing.
