Harley-Davidson Australia has joined forces with the UFC to bring an adrenaline-fueled experience to the Melbourne Moto Expo at the Melbourne Showgrounds. The event, running from Friday, November 25th to Sunday, November 27th, promises an exciting showcase.
As part of this collaboration, the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, Miesha Tate, will grace the Melbourne Moto Expo on Saturday, November 26th. Tate will engage with fans, sign autographs, and size up the competition among the Harley-Davidson 2017 Milwaukee-Eight models at 3pm.
With a substantial fan base of over 3.4 million UFC enthusiasts in Australia, Harley-Davidson recognizes the value of this partnership. To commemorate Tate’s visit, the motorcycle giant is offering five double passes to the highly anticipated Whittaker vs. Brunson UFC fight on November 27th at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.
To stand a chance to win these passes, attendees can test ride the new 2017 Harley-Davidson Milwaukee-Eight models, available for demo rides or jumpstarts at the Harley-Davidson stand throughout the expo.
The Melbourne Moto Expo, held biennially, is Australia’s premier motorcycle exhibition, featuring the latest motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, UTVs, Jet Skis, and related products and services from over 100 vendors. The event anticipates drawing up to 5,000 visitors over the weekend.
Adam Wright, the Marketing Director for Harley-Davidson Australia and New Zealand, highlighted the expo as a prime opportunity to explore the new 2017 Harley-Davidson models, particularly the Milwaukee-Eight 2017 engine. The expo will showcase the latest cruisers, Touring motorcycles, and Dark Custom range, all equipped with the Milwaukee-Eight 107ci engine for enhanced performance and comfort.
Moreover, the Melbourne Moto Expo will feature the Harley-Davidson LiveWire, offering attendees an up-close encounter with one of Australia’s most technologically advanced motorcycles. The LiveWire’s fusion of Harley-Davidson’s iconic design with cutting-edge technology promises a thrilling riding experience with rapid acceleration and a distinctive new sound.
Additionally, the Street 500, with upgraded specifications and a revised rideaway price for 2017, will be on display. Responding to market research insights, Harley-Davidson aims to maintain the Street 500’s affordability to attract younger customers embarking on their motorcycle journey.
The expo dates and timings are as follows: Friday, November 25th from 9 am to 7 pm, Saturday, November 26th from 9 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, November 27th from 9 am to 5 pm. Visitors can find Harley-Davidson at Stand 120, with Jump Starts available near the Main Arena. Miesha Tate’s photo opportunities are scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, November 26th.
