Shark has introduced its latest innovation in modular helmets with the launch of the OXO series. These helmets boast a new Flip-back design that enhances stability at high speeds and a sleek, streamlined shape that can be configured for both open and closed riding.
In Flip-back mode, the OXO helmet can be easily transformed into an open-face style using the ‘2 DIGIT UNLOCK’ mechanism. This feature allows for a more casual and convenient experience in urban environments without compromising safety, making it the first modular helmet to be approved by both ECE 22.06 and P/J safety standards.
The visor of the OXO helmet is equipped with anti-scratch treatment and provides a wide panoramic view with two open options: full or partial. Additionally, it comes with a Pinlock 70 included for enhanced visibility. The helmet’s fit is also a priority, with options for two shell sizes to ensure a comfortable and secure fit for riders.
Designed to accommodate SENA Bluetooth and SENA Mesh intercom systems, including the WAVE model developed in collaboration with SENA, the OXO helmet offers seamless integration for communication needs. The placement of the intercom within the helmet has been specifically engineered for optimal functionality.
Key features of the Shark OXO Modular Helmet include a high-impact LEXAN shell, 3D scanning technology for the best fit, and the EasyFit system for riders wearing glasses. The helmet also offers optimised ventilation with two air inlets and two air outlets, an anti-scratch visor with Air Stream position capability, and a UV380 sun visor for added protection.
Available in sizes ranging from XS to 2XL, the OXO helmet comes in two shell sizes to accommodate various head sizes. Weighing 1660 grams (size M +/- 50 grams), this helmet is both lightweight and durable, providing riders with a comfortable and secure riding experience.
